How many days of holiday?
The minimum paid leave per year.
What the law says
- At least 26 working days of leave per year, whatever your age (Art. L. 233-4).
- Six extra days for employees recognised as disabled, war invalids and people injured at work (Art. L. 233-4).
- Young workers (adolescents) get at least 25 working days, unless a collective agreement gives more (Art. L. 344-16).
- Working days are all days except Sundays and public holidays (Art. L. 344-16).
Watch out for
- Your contract or a collective agreement can give more, never less.
