What this site is

Droit Clair is an independent legal information site. It is not affiliated with the Luxembourg or Diekirch Bar, nor with the courts.

No legal advice

The guides give documentary information on Luxembourg law, within the meaning of Article 3 of the amended law of 10 August 1991 on the legal profession. They do not replace a lawyer’s advice on your situation. Every guide cites its official source (Legilux) and the date it was checked.

Lawyer directory

Lawyers list themselves. Profiles show only objective, verifiable facts. The display order is neutral; no lawyer pays for a better rank, and the site takes no commission on any case.

Personal data

Droit Clair sets one cookie, to remember your language. Fonts are hosted on this site. Questions asked to Max are processed on our own server, without your name, and deleted as soon as the answer is shown. Lawyers who sign up give us name, firm, e-mail, town, practice areas and languages, used only to prepare their profile and contact them about it (legal basis: consent). This data is never sold or passed on. It is deleted on request, or at the latest two years after a sign-up that was never published. You can ask for access, correction or deletion at the contact address above, and complain to the CNPD (cnpd.public.lu).

Advertising and cookies

Droit Clair is free and paid for by Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads. On your first visit we ask for your consent, and you can change your choice at any time. No lawyer pays to appear in the directory; ads are kept apart from the directory.
